Return Policy

Floor & Decor Return Policy


Returns must be made within 30 days of when you receive the product. Whether you’ve purchased the item in store or online, you may return unopened, resalable items to any Floor & Decor store location.

 

You must have a copy of your confirmation email/receipt with you to make a return in a store. However, there are some items that are non-returnable. Floor & Decor does not accept discontinued products or products purchased from Floor & Decor Express. (Please see below for Floor & Decor Express return policy).

 

Used or opened tools, if verified to be defective, can be exchanged.

 

If you are unable to return the products to one of our store locations, please call our customer care specialists for return authorization and shipping instructions at 877-675-0002. Hours are Monday-Thursday 7 am to 11 pm,  Friday 7 am to 9 pm, Saturday 8 am to 9 pm and Sunday 9 am to 6 pm (all times Eastern).

 

You are responsible for all original and return shipping costs.

 

After Floor & Decor receives the product, please allow 36 hours to process the return, but this time can vary. Your refund will be provided by the same method you originally used to order the product(s). Any items returned without return authorization, including canceled orders and refused shipments, are subject to a 10 percent restocking fee.

 

Cancellations


Orders cancelled prior to shipping can be cancelled without penalty. If you decide to cancel an order, please call our customer care specialists immediately at 877-675-0002.  Hours are Monday-Thursday 7 am to 11 pm,  Friday 7 am to 9 pm, Saturday 8 am to 9 pm and Sunday 9 am to 6 pm (all times Eastern).

 

Once an order has been loaded and is in route to the shipping address, Floor & Decor will charge all applicable shipping fees as part of the return. The customer is solely responsible for all outgoing and return shipping costs. Any items returned without return authorization, including canceled orders and refused shipments, are subject to a 10 percent restocking fee.

 

Refused Orders


DO NOT REFUSE ANY SHIPMENT. If your shipment arrives damaged, call our customer care center at 877-675-0002 immediately for assistance with getting replacements sent to you. (Please see Damages Policy).

Damaged or Missing Product

Installed Merchandise 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY 
Floor & Decor is not responsible for product defect or damage, property damage, or lost labor costs due to faulty installation. It is the responsibility of the customer to validate the credentials, references, insurance and certification of installers before any work begins. Claims for product damage or shortages must be made upon receipt of product. Thoroughly inspect all products before installation as use will constitute acceptance. Installed flooring is considered the property of the owner/installer and cannot be exchanged or returned for any reason.

 

Floor & Decor Special Orders 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Once tendered, all Floor & Decor Special Order sales are final and non-returnable. Damaged or defective merchandise can be exchanged for identical product within 30 days of purchase. Order can be cancelled on same day of purchase only.

 

Floor & Decor Express Return Policy 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY 
Once tendered, all Floor & Decor Express sales that are returned are subject to a 25 percent restocking fee. This applies to all returns, cancellations and/or refusal of delivery. This fee will be assessed from the return amount. All Floor & Decor Express products must be returned in their entirety. No partial Floor & Decor Express returns will be accepted. For example, if 15 boxes were ordered, all 15 boxes must be returned. Damaged or defective merchandise can be exchanged for identical product within 30 days of delivery. 

Cancellation (after 24 hours) or refusal of delivery will result in a 25 percent restocking fee.
