Real People. Real Projects: Spring Looks!
Now that the seasons are turning and spring is on the horizon, people are looking to freshen up their space! Lots of customers are sharing photos of their finished Floor & Decor project, and we’re loving all of the bright designs that are making us think about sunny spring days.
Not only does this dining room by @ninetiesnomore have a great view of the outdoor space, but she also found a way to introduce bright neutrals to the room give it a warm and inviting feel! This dining room features Woodland Reserve Montpellier Oak Hardwood, which has a wire-brushed surface texture that can camouflage any scratches or scuffs from lots of activity, like moving chairs or hard high heels. This San Juan Azul Porcelain Tile accent wall brings both a vintage feel and pops of blue that flawlessly introduce color to this neutral palette.
Kate (@censtationalstyle) knows how to brighten up a room with a minimalist approach that is complemented by the high amount of daylight pouring in from the outside. She didn’t need to do much to create a bright and airy feeling, but she still made a significant impact with the pieces that she chose!
The highlight of this bathroom is the picket mosaic backsplash. Villa Alabaster Picket Ceramic Mosaic has a twist on the picket mosaic because each tile has a concave structure that gives this minimalist bathroom the perfect amount of dimension. That, paired with the light veining of the marble countertops, gives her bathroom a soft modern look that we can’t get enough of!
A transitional modern farmhouse look can easily be kept fresh for springtime! Catherine and Bryan (@beginninginthemiddle) paired a crisp white wall with their exposed brick interior. You might think rough bricks and clean subway tile would clash, but our Villa Artisan Frost Porcelain Tile has extra texture along the edges for some extra character. That, paired with the exposed hardware of the wall lamps and the light-colored butcherblock shelving, this modern farmhouse looks bright and cheery.
Who says that small bathrooms can’t have big style? Bryce and Stefanie (@bryceandstefanie) sure seem to know exactly which elements to bring this contemporary style together. With the elements of style that they incorporated, this space has a lot of personality. By combining crisp white subway tile with pops of pattern, they gave this room the perfect balance between the elements of style.
We love that they chose black grout that contrasts with their Canvas Meringue Ceramic Tile—it’s all they needed to bring out this classic subway shape on the wall! And we haven’t missed their patterned tile floors, either. Stratford Decorative Porcelain Tile features an exotic design of geometric and floral designs in light gray and bright blue, which we think goes well with the sage-colored vanity and marble countertop!
