What does the grade rating for stone tiles stand for?

Our grading standard is meant to differentiate the selection and pricing of travertine stone. The grades are based on four criteria: density, amount of fill, color variation or pureness of color, amount of veining. We adhere to economy, select, and premium ratings. • Economy: Most inconsistency in color, more frequent and larger fill may be present
• Select: some inconsistency in color, fewer and smaller holes and less fill
• Premium: Most consistent material, fewer and smaller holes, beautiful veining and movement, specialty materials and finishes.
