Can this floor be installed over ceramic tile?

Asked by: Jack
Yes, this floor can be installed over tile. Make sure to level out your tile floor. If clicks overlap a grout line it may compromise the integrity of the click system, fill up grouts wider than 1/8" with a leveling compound when installing over tiles. Please be sure to follow all manufacturer installation instructions.

Can this floor be installed prior to the installation of new kitchen cabinets and a kitchen island, both with a stone type countertop?

Asked by: Steve
Heavy fixed objects should not be installed on top of a floating floor; including items like cabinets, tubs, or kitchen appliances. You can make cuts in the floor to be installed around the island and kitchen cabinets.

How do you accommodate the expansion gap when installing around a shower stall?

Asked by: Td
The expansion gap is still required around shower stalls and tubs, but you would use a rubber strip that is designed to cover the expansion space and aid in waterproofing and protection.
