Angela's Independent Living Space
When Angela was diagnosed with cancer, her daughter Rhea decided to give her the best birthday surprise she could imagine: a beautiful apartment in her home where Angela could live independently and Rhea could care for her as she receives treatment.
The lower level of Rhea’s home was unfinished, making it the perfect place for Angela’s new apartment. It gave Rhea a blank canvas where she could put her love of home design to work, creating a space that was warm and inviting for Angela. Her goal was to surprise Angela with the new apartment for her birthday, which was quickly approaching.
Rhea had never shopped at Floor & Decor before planning the apartment project. The minute she entered the store, she discovered how easy it was to compare flooring samples, choose coordinating designs, and find all the essentials needed to complete her project.
Because the apartment was on the ground level, Rhea wanted flooring that was durable, in case of moisture, yet beautiful to create a cozy setting for her Angela.
