Laticrete Fracture Ban 90mil. is a high performance, pliable, light weight peel and stick membranes designed for use under ceramic tile, stone and other hard surface installations. Anti-Fracture: helps to prevent the transmission of horizontal in plane cracks from the substrate, up to 3/8" (9.5 mm), transmitting up through the tile and stone. Sound control: FRACTURE BAN 40 has a ΔIIC of 14 and FRACTURE BAN 90 a ΔIIC of 18 through independent ASTM E2179 testing. FRACTURE BAN 40 is 40 mils (1 mm) thick. FRACTURE BAN 90 is 90 mils thick (2.3 mm). • Has a white non-woven surface for easy chalk line identification • Provides a water resistive barrier • Prevents in plane cracks up to 3/8” (9.5 mm) • Use with FRACTURE BAN Primer, this application is the first step of the FRACTURE BAN 40 & 90 installation process and isan essential component of the FRACTURE BAN system. • FRACTURE BAN 40 is available in rolls 39.25 in. x 69 ft (1 m x 21 m) or 225 ft² (21 m²) • FRACTURE BAN 90 is available in rolls 39.25 in. x 30.6 ft (1 m x 9.33 m) or 100 ft² (9.3 m²)
