STRATA_MAT uncoupling membrane is a high performance floor underlayment for use in tile and stone installations across residential and commercial applications. Designed to replace traditional underlayment materials, the unique patented design of STRATA_MAT provides for an enhanced mechanical bond of thin-set adhesive with a faster dry time. Specifically designed for use with both modified and unmodified mortars, STRATA_MAT flooring underlayment allows for the proper thin-set adhesive to be used with porcelain or large format tiles and stone.
- Isolates the transmission of in-plane substrate cracks of up to 1/8" (3 mm) when used in direct bond applications
- Mortar hydration vents provide vapor management and accelerates thin-set curing for faster dry time grout the next day
