Stacked stone ledgers are not required to be grouted. However, they may be spot grouted to fill gaps throughout the ledger to achieve a more aesthetically pleasing look. Spot grouting is achieved by using grout and a grout bag to strategically place grout throughout the stacked stone ledger. Please note that the grout used may also need to be sealed. We recommend following all manufacturer guidelines for each product used during installation to ensure proper installation and that the installation materials are appropriate for the chosen application. We also recommend spot grouting a “test area” in an inconspicuous area to ensure that the desired result is achieved.
