Can you place heavy items such as cabinets, tubs, or vanities on top of laminate flooring?

It is important that laminate flooring to be able to expand and contract freely. Therefore, laminate floors should be cut to fit around heavy objects such as a bathtub, vanity, kitchen counter island, etc. Please see the installation instructions and warranty for more details.
