What is the wear layer on Optimax Performance flooring?

Optimax Performance flooring does not have a traditional wear layer. It features Techtanium Plus, a protective surface coating that differs from a traditional wear layer and is not measured in mils. Floors reinforced with Techtanium Plus' supreme protection deliver 2x the scratch resistance versus a 22 mil wear layer and 50% more scratch resistance than a 30 mil wear layer.
